Felt like I was taking a college course. It was fantastic! Most of the time you are lucky to get one or two things from a self help book. This book had at least 10 points per chapter that were helpful. A must read for those who want to advertise on Facebook!
Perry Marshall is the go-to guy for the best info on online advertising and direct-response marketing.
I knew nothing about Facebook advertising until I bought this book. The authors gave me a quick and easy understanding of how it all works. I had ads running and successful within days after. As a former salesman...for 20 years.... look no further. It's an easy read and will change the way you do business.
This is a great starting point for using Facebook paid advertising. This is not a begining book on marketing. It is for people that already understand direct response online marketing. If you know how and why to set up a landing or squeeze page and want to improve conversion and drive paid traffic to it, this is the perfect place to start. If you don't know what I am talking about here, start somewhere else first to get the basics, and then get this book to learn the details of Facebook Ads.
Learned some info from it but it is dated so you have to really search on FB to find where things have changed.
Nothing to do with the book itself really, just the fact that any book that you buy regarding facebook gets outdated so fast because facebook is constantly changing policies and fees, etc. I really give facebook a bad rating for businesses, especially small businesses. I've spent so much money "buying" likes and followers, and now they charge you just to reach out to those followers that you've already paid for. I have over 5k page likes on my business page, but maybe only 100-150 of those people that I've already paid for actually see anything that I post, unless I decide to pay at different increments to reach out to more of my fans. Facebook doesnt care about small businesses, they only care about profits and how they can take advantage of any user who uses them for social networking. It's really disgusting. The next facebook that this author writes should be why you should not advertise on facebook, and come up with better alternatives. Then Ill give 5 stars.
I was recommend Perry Marshal Guide to Adwords from a Marketing Guru, but purchase this book instead, and let me say, it's worth it's weight in Gold. Using a Few tips with CPM, and Image Optimization and Split testing took one of my Facebook campaign from 0.02% CTR to .234% CTR giving me clicks for $.08 cents. I'm really starting to see the potential in Facebook Advertising, and this book has really opened my eye.

I'm no dominating my competition with a huge Facebook presence and Seen Google is now using personal search results, people who visit my site now see my site ranked higher in the serps when logged into their Google account sending me more traffic.

Facebook is a Gold Mine, and This book will show you how to affordability mine it.
